DJ equipment insurance.
DJ equipment insurance covers your CDJs, mixers, controllers, and laptop against theft and damage worldwide, including at paid gigs, and at Ramble it starts at $175 a year with a $100 deductible. It covers club installs, mobile rigs, and festival gigs, and applying takes a few minutes.

01 THE EXCLUSION
DJ gear is professional-use by definition.
If you're getting booked, your gear can count as business property under a homeowners or renters policy. Standard policies typically cap musical instruments at around $2,000 unless you add a rider, and the cap on business property is often lower, as little as $200 to $1,500 away from home.
Ramble covers professional use outright, worldwide, from $175 a year.
02 REAL SCENARIOS
Drinks, booths, and transit.
DJ gear dies in predictable ways, like a drink across the mixer, a controller crushed in the trunk of a rideshare, a bag that walks off while you're packing down at 3 a.m., or a van break-in between weekend bookings. Accidental damage, theft (including from vehicles), and even mysterious disappearance are covered, subject to policy terms.
03 THE LAPTOP
Laptops and software covered alongside the decks.
The laptop is the heart of most modern rigs, and Ramble treats it as gear: computer hardware and software are insurable on the same policy as your CDJs, mixer, and controllers.
04 SPEED
Covered before the weekend.
Photograph the rig or type out what's in it, let the chat uploader build your valued collection, then apply straight from it with an immediate quote. Approval comes back in one business day or less; if you get booked Thursday, you can have the whole thing done before the weekend.
