Classroom instruments absorb more handling in a semester than most private instruments see in a decade, between small hands, crowded rooms, and daily setup and teardown. Ramble covers accidental damage, which is what most of that reality produces: student handling is life, not negligence, and the policy treats it that way.
The policy also covers theft, fire, and water damage, the risks every school building knows well, subject to policy terms.
A fleet of thirty violins, six keyboards, two grands, and a closet of percussion is an inventory problem before it's an insurance problem. Ramble's collection system was built for exactly this: photograph the fleet or upload the inventory list, and the chat uploader turns it into an itemized, valued inventory with an immediate quote at application. As instruments join and leave the fleet, premiums only ever move by the pro-rated difference. Our concierge team will even build the inventory for you if you'd rather hand over the closet list.
Coverage follows the instruments off-premises and in transit, worldwide, whether it's the recital at the rented hall, the ensemble trip, or the piano moved across town for the showcase. The annual logistics scramble doesn't need an insurance scramble on top of it.
Ramble covers the instruments and equipment themselves. General liability for your students and premises is a separate line your school carries elsewhere. Note that property loaned or rented to others is excluded under the policy, so coverage applies to gear under the school's control rather than instruments rented out to students. Talk to us about your fleet's specifics.

Ramble protects against theft, loss, accidental breakage, vandalism, fire, flood, earthquakes, and more.
Your equipment is automatically covered anywhere in the world—at home, in the studio, on the road, as checked airline baggage, or when being shipped.
We cover any instrument you can imagine, plus recording gear, consoles, mics, sound and lighting equipment, cameras, computers, cables, and more.
Our team is always here to help. Real support when you need it, reachable by email or phone—and we know how to pronounce Moog.

Five quick questions. Submit and you're done! Get approved in one business day or less.
Rare instruments, a full studio, a touring rig — if your collection needs white-glove handling, our concierge team will catalog everything for you and walk you through coverage personally.

For illustration only. Amounts above are estimates based on Instruments & Equipment coverage at your selected deductible. Deductible is per claim, not per instrument. Policies start at $175/year; your actual premium and coverage depend on your gear, deductible, and application review.
