Take a standard renters or homeowners policy on tour and you're carrying two exclusions at once: your gear is off-premises, and it's earning money. Either one can sink a claim; together they're a guarantee. The insurance most musicians think they have quietly stops at the front door.
Ramble is the inverse: worldwide, all-risk coverage where professional use and life on the road are the design brief, not the fine print.
Ask any touring band about their worst night and there's a decent chance it involves a parking lot. Theft from your car, van, or trailer is explicitly covered at Ramble, as is theft from the venue, the hotel, and the storage unit between legs. If the whole trailer disappears overnight, that's a claim, not a GoFundMe.
The policy is written for the tour-diary worst hits, like a tour bus hit head-on by a tractor trailer, a tour vehicle catching fire, gear stolen from vehicles, trailers, and venues, or a bass left on a train with no explanation, which is exactly what mysterious disappearance coverage exists for. Approved claims can pay by check online as fast as 24–48 hours, which matters when the next show is tomorrow. And if a covered loss puts an instrument in the shop mid-tour, rental reimbursement covers a rented substitute at up to $2,500 a day (up to $25,000), with no deductible on the reimbursement, so the run finishes.
Picked up a backup head in a pawn shop in Tulsa? It's already covered: newly acquired gear is automatically insured up to $25,000 for 30 days from the day you buy it. Add it to your collection from your phone and resubmit to make it permanent, with only the pro-rated difference charged. Your whole policy (gear list, values, claims) lives in a dashboard that works from wherever the routing takes you.

Ramble protects against theft, loss, accidental breakage, vandalism, fire, flood, earthquakes, and more.
Your equipment is automatically covered anywhere in the world—at home, in the studio, on the road, as checked airline baggage, or when being shipped.

For illustration only. Amounts above are estimates based on Instruments & Equipment coverage at your selected deductible. Deductible is per claim, not per instrument. Policies start at $175/year; your actual premium and coverage depend on your gear, deductible, and application review.
