Ramble writes inland marine equipment coverage, which protects the gear itself against theft, damage, fire, water, and transit losses. It is not premises liability or general business liability; if a client trips over a cable run, that's a different policy from a different market. What Ramble protects is the physical studio: every mic, channel strip, monitor, and machine in the room.
A studio's value concentrates brutally: one console, a handful of vintage mics, and a rack of outboard can carry most of the room's worth. Ramble insures each piece at its declared value on a single policy, and building that schedule doesn't mean weeks of forms: photograph the room, drop in your gear spreadsheet, or describe what's in the racks, and the chat uploader itemizes and values it for you, with an immediate quote when you apply. If cataloging the whole room sounds like a week you don't have, our concierge team will happily do it for you.
There's no cap on how much gear you can put on the collection, and values update any time. When the vintage mic market moves, so can your schedule.
A commercial studio's gear is business property every hour of the day, which is exactly why homeowners-style coverage fails it. Ramble covers professional use outright: paid sessions, rentals of the room, client projects. The commercial reality of studio life is the baseline assumption of the policy.
Every studio owner has meant to build a proper gear inventory for years. Your Ramble collection is that inventory: itemized, valued, photographed, and tied to your actual coverage. When gear comes and goes, update the collection and resubmit; you're only ever charged or refunded the pro-rated difference.

Ramble protects against theft, loss, accidental breakage, vandalism, fire, flood, earthquakes, and more.

For illustration only. Amounts above are estimates based on Instruments & Equipment coverage at your selected deductible. Deductible is per claim, not per instrument. Policies start at $175/year; your actual premium and coverage depend on your gear, deductible, and application review.
