Woodwind money hides in plain sight. A professional oboe from Lorée or Marigaux runs around $10,000 and has a working prime measured in years, not decades. A Heckel bassoon carries a waiting list measured in years and a price tag deep into five figures, and good used ones appreciate. Even a matched pair of professional clarinets is the price of a decent used car. Ramble insures each instrument at your declared value, updated whenever the market moves.
Every woodwind player knows the sound a cracked top joint makes in their stomach. Wooden instruments live in tension with the weather, and a knock at the wrong moment, a drop on a hard floor, or a case latch that wasn't quite closed produces the classic losses. Accidental damage is covered with a $100 minimum deductible per claim, alongside theft, fire, water damage, and even mysterious disappearance, subject to policy terms.
Serious woodwind work multiplies instruments, since clarinetists carry matched pairs, oboists add the English horn, and the bass clarinet book pays too well to turn down. Every instrument lives in your Ramble collection at its own declared value, on one policy, with one deductible structure, managed from one dashboard.
Photograph the instruments or list them, and Ramble's chat uploader identifies each one and builds your valued collection. Apply straight from it, answer a few quick questions, and your quote appears immediately, with approval in one business day or less. Our concierge team will happily do the cataloging for you.

For illustration only. Amounts above are estimates based on Instruments & Equipment coverage at your selected deductible. Deductible is per claim, not per instrument. Policies start at $175/year; your actual premium and coverage depend on your gear, deductible, and application review.
