Live sound equipment insurance.
Live sound equipment insurance covers consoles, line arrays, amp racks, and the cases they travel in against theft and damage worldwide, in the truck, at the venue, and in storage, and at Ramble it starts at $175 a year. It covers the equipment only, not general liability for your events.

01 THE RIG
A PA system is hundreds of line items.
A working sound rig is a digital console worth as much as a car, boxes and subs by the dozen, amp racks, stage boxes, a mic locker, wireless systems, and case after case of cable and hardware. The total value surprises even the owner, and itemizing it is the reason most live sound operators put off insurance for years.
This is exactly the job Ramble's chat uploader was built for: hand it your existing inventory spreadsheet, a folder of photos, or a plain list, and it builds the itemized, valued collection. And if the inventory only exists in your head, our concierge team will catalog the whole rig for you.
02 ON THE ROAD
Covered in the truck, the venue, and the lockup.
Sound gear lives in motion and gets left places: in the box truck overnight, at the venue between festival days, and in the storage unit off-season. Ramble covers theft (including from vehicles), accidental damage at load-in and load-out, water and weather losses at outdoor events, and transit, worldwide, subject to policy terms.
03 WHAT IT COVERS
Gear coverage, not general liability.
Ramble insures the equipment itself. General liability for your events and clients is a separate line we don't write, and venues that require liability certificates are asking about that separate policy. Note also that property rented out to others is excluded, so coverage applies to gear you operate yourself; if dry hire is part of your business, talk to us about the specifics.
04 CHURN
Rigs evolve, coverage follows.
Sound inventories churn constantly as boxes get added for bigger rooms and old amps get sold. Edit your collection and resubmit, and only the pro-rated difference is charged or refunded, so the policy stays matched to the warehouse without schedule-change paperwork.
